PHOTOS: Best of UCF Football’s 2014 season

The UCF Knights football team won their second consecutive American Athletic Conference championship in 2014 and were led by a veteran defense that featured Terrance Plummer, Clayton Geathers and Brandon Alexander.

UCF’s season had some memorable moments that included the last-second win over ECU on the road and the Knights first-ever shutout over rival USF in Tampa.

The Knights were led on offense by first-year quarterback Justin Holman, who did a good job filling Blake Bortles shoes after he left for the NFL Draft.

UCF’s offense should be a strength in 2015 with Holman returning as well as running back William Stanback. But look out at some of the players the Knights will bring in on National Signing Day as a part of the 2015 class, some recruits could play a factor as early as the 2015 season.
