Justin Holman threw three interceptions along with 183 yards and one touchdown against Houston.

UCF shocked East Carolina last season with a final second pass into the end zone to give the Knights a win in Greenville, but this season UCF is without almost all of the receivers they threw to a year ago and will still be looking for their first win of the season on Thursday against the Pirates.

The Knights go into the game 0-10, but coming off a bye week are healthier than they’ve been since the first game of the season.

Quarterback Justin Holman has struggled this season, throwing 11 interceptions to six touchdowns in seven games. Holman has thrown multiple interceptions in four of his last five games.

UCF will be looking to play spoiler on Thursday night because ECU needs to win both of their final two games to become bowl eligible. The Knights are using the extra motivation this week on top of all the motivation of getting their first win.

Danny Barrett is in his third week as UCF’s head coach and is still looking for his first-ever collegiate win.

Kickoff for UCF vs. East Carolina is set for 7:30 p.m. on Thursday with the game being televised nationally on ESPN.
