SANFORD, Fla.- After 18 witnesses the defense rested its case midway through Wednesday afternoon after George Zimmerman gave up his rights to testify. The State will began their closing statements on Thursday afternoon at 1 p.m. and finish up on Friday with deliberation to began that afternoon.
